Terms
These terms govern the use of the Kviko.cz marketplace. Short and clear, no hidden traps.
Updated 8. 2026
1. Operator and the service
Kviko.cz (hereinafter “Kviko”) is operated by the site operator available at the support address. Kviko is an online classifieds marketplace: it mediates the publication of offers between users. It is not an e-shop, it does not mediate payments between buyer and seller, and it does not become a party to the sale contract between them.
2. Account and listing without an account
- By registering or submitting a listing you confirm you are over 18 (or have a legal guardian’s consent) and that the information you give is true.
- You can list without an account via email; management goes through a secret link that you must not send to anyone.
- You are responsible for the content of listings, photos and messages. You must not break Czech law or the listing rules.
3. What is not allowed on Kviko
The listing rules apply. In particular, selling live animals, weapons, drugs, counterfeits, stolen goods and fraudulent offers is banned. A breach may lead to hiding the listing, blocking the account and handing the matter to the authorities if the law requires it.
4. Boosting and credits (paid services)
Price details: pricing.
- Boosting and related highlighting are digital services provided immediately after payment.
- Prices are in the price list including VAT where VAT applies. The payment gateway is run by Comgate.
- For digital content supplied with the consumer’s consent before the withdrawal period ends, a right of withdrawal may not arise (§ 1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code).
- If a technical error on our side happens (for example a boost does not run), we will fix the credits or the service (see the fairness charter).
5. Liability
Users create the listings. Kviko is not liable for the quality, legal status or delivery of goods between users. We recommend an in-person handover in a public place and no payments in advance. We provide the service with professional care; for third-party outages (hosting, payments, email) we are liable only to the extent the law does not exclude.
6. Moderation and appeals
We may check content automatically and by hand, move a category, hide or delete. You can appeal an action under the fairness charter.
7. Intellectual property
By sending photos and text you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display them within the Kviko service (including thumbnails and search). The Kviko brand, logo and mascot are protected.
8. Changes to the terms
We may update the terms. Material changes will be announced on the site (for example in News) with an effective date. By continuing to use the service after a change takes effect, you accept the terms.
9. Contact and complaints
Complaints about paid services and general questions go through the support form or the support email. On payments and accounts we usually reply within 24 hours, on everything else within 48 hours.
10. Governing law
Relations are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Consumers have rights under the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act. Disputes can also be resolved out of court through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz) or the EU ODR platform.
